Just TOO Busy

Ever had those days,
maybe they happen most days,
where you have a list of things to do,
but never get them done?!
Feel like you’re chasing your tail?
Sometimes you get up earlier to get more done,
but still find you’ve got stuff left over?
There’s a difference between being
Busy and being Productive.
The “What Has to be Done”
versus
“What NEEDS to be Done”
Being productive, is doing stuff that brings
success or results, whereas being busy
is doing stuff that takes up your time!
If you carry on being “busy” you’ll
be chasing your tail day after day,
and it’s the quickest way to stress yourself.
?
If you have a plan of what NEEDS to be done,
today, this week, this month,
prioritising is a lot easier,
and productivity follows!
There are always “tasks” that are not
as important as others.
That can be left til later in the week,
passed to someone else/split into manageable blocks.
Just don’t set yourself up to fail,
by having a list that’s too big,
or by being “busy” over productive.
It’s sometimes about stopping,
taking that step backwards first,
to move forward in a faster gear.
Personal goals try looking at ONE Thing.
What ONE thing can I do this week
to make my goal closer,
then,
what ONE thing can I do today,
to make my weekly goal more achievable?
Just a few thoughts, but, could lead to action……… 😉
