Why you could be bloated

So, you’ve probably heard of the
Fight or Flight syndrome?
How your body/mind works and reacts
to something new,
something daunting,
something out your comfort zone,
something stressful.
Heart rate elevates.
Blood Pressure increases.
Pupils dilate.
Possibly start sweating.
Muscles tense.
Start to get butterflies in your stomach.
This goes back to our “survival” mechanism.
Our body being prepared to stand and fight
whatever is the obstacle, or preparing to run.
Look at the last symptom above;
the stomach discomfort or butterflies.
When you’re in this “state” your body is
“prepping” itself to run or fight.
It’s not worried about digestion, so it moves
a lot of the blood away from your
digestive system, to the legs and arms
where it “could be” needed.
This results in the “stomach uneasiness”
Now if you decide to eat at this point,
you’ll maybe experience bloating, stomach
pains etc…….. coz there’s not enough blood
working to move the food on.
This is why it’s not a great idea to eat when stressed.
especially if you ;
– Eat on the Go
– Eat at Your Desk
– Stress A lot
– Last Minute Food Decisions etc
or more likely;
– Those of you that stress , or have a lot of stressors
in your life might have digestive issues, or
feeling/looking bigger around the stomach area.
This is why I’m ALWAYS talking about dealing with,
and minimising stressors = it affects health massively.
